Q: How do I fund my account?
A: You can fund your account via Electronic Check, by mailing a personal check, or via wire transfer to HedgeStreet. To make a deposit, log in to your HedgeStreet account; select the My HedgeStreet tab and access the "Account" link located directly beneath the tab. Once you have accessed that page, click on "Make a Deposit".

About Electronic Checks:
An Electronic Check is an Internet-based check service that allows you to deposit funds directly from your account at a U.S. financial institution to your HedgeStreet account. When you provide your checking account number and ABA Routing number, the Electronic Check service will issue a paper check drawn upon your checking account in the amount you have specified. There is no fee for this service. Depending upon the arrangements you have made with your financial institution, the check may be returned to you along with your personal banking statement(s) and other cancelled checks. The check can then be kept in your records as proof of your deposit into your HedgeStreet account. The maximum deposit amount using Electronic Checks is $10,000 each time you make a deposit to your HedgeStreet account.

About Paper Checks:
You may also opt to mail us a personal check for deposit into your HedgeStreet account. All deposits by paper check require a minimum of $100. When making a deposit by check, remember to:
  • Write your HedgeStreet account number on the check (your account number can be found in the My HedgeStreet section after you have logged in).
  • Please make your check payable to HedgeStreet, Inc.
  • Mail to the following address:

    HedgeStreet, Inc.
311 South Wacker Drive, Suite 2675
    Chicago, IL 60606

About Wire Transfers:
You can wire funds directly from your account at a U.S. financial institution to your HedgeStreet account. HedgeStreet does not charge a fee for incoming wire transfers. You may want to contact your financial institution as additional charges may apply for originating the fund transfer.

To ensure prompt and proper credit to your HedgeStreet account, prior to making a deposit via wire transfer, you must provide HedgeStreet with the following information by sending an email to Account Operations:

  • Your full name, address, and phone number.
  • Your HedgeStreet account number.
  • The amount you will be sending to your HedgeStreet account.
HedgeStreet will notify you by email when your deposited funds have cleared and you can begin trading.

Questions regarding deposits or withdrawals should be directed to Account Operations. A member of our support team will be happy to assist you.
